Dentist Spring: Caring for Your Oral Hygiene

At Dentist Spring we work day in and out for the benefit and welfare of our clientele and society in large. Dental care has today become a matter of primary significance. Weak teeth, careless lifestyles, sodas and too much of caffeine luxuriated with abundant sugar is the cause of them. Life is fast and so are the requirements to pace up.

We no doubt are much more careless than our ancestors in management of health and hygiene. Simple reason is that due to the advancement of science and many short cut solutions available we tend to depend on them and ignore many steps which are absolutely important for maintaining oral and personal hygiene.

A tooth brush is that significant ornament which is one of the most used and abused equipment in the household which unfortunately maintains oral health. Why we at Dentist Spring call it an unfortunate fact is because of the poor management of the brush. It is henceforth stressed time and again by the dentists and experts at Dentist Spring to ensure that your brush is dry every time you use it to clean your teeth. The basic reason is the presence of bacteria on a wet brush.

A wet brush usually clutters bacteria and by using it not only we are prone to more diseases but also actually make our mouth dirtier. It is hence advised that one should always keep the brush upright to ensure that the water from the bristles eventually trickle away, drying the brush till next use.

Similarly using a brush for 3 months is the only prescribed time limit for it. If you are using the brush further more than that then it’s abusing it. Worn out bristles do not reach the intended spaces of the teeth and fail to perform the cleaning effectively.
